Big pot II

Making a new big pot.  Ok, for context, that’s a 70 lb puppy… So far it’s 17″.  Trying to go all the way to 36… Need to cover an ugly backflow preventer in the garden…

A giant pot — more experimenting

I am going to try more of these if this one makes it through the kiln.  Going to leave it to dry while we are away.  hand built using extrusions and some minimal throwing…

Deep Red Pillows

I think i have finally stumbled upon a low fire glaze that i think is JUST perfect for the pillows.  I was testing all the Brian Gartside glazes and one really simple one saturated with mason stain works really well sprayed… two parts magnesium carbonate to one part 3134 by volume (not weight).
