the head glazed…

This is the end result of my decision to sculpt a head.  Pretty fun.  This head is earthenware sculpted and hollowed out before firing.  It is glazed with a combination of oxide washes and copper glaze and barium matte finish.  Oxidation fired to 1944.  So serious!
